Gas power plant
Gas turbines consist of three main components: compressor, combustion chamber and turbine. The fuels used in this turbine are liquid fuels or natural gas. The number of Class E family gas units in operation worldwide is significant and is one of the most numerous types of gas units in the class of large gas turbines to generate electricity. Class E gas turbines from the family called V94.2 are manufactured by Mapna Company under the brand name MGT-70 in versions 1 to 3 with the brand names MAP2, MAP2A+ and MAP2B and are being used in many gas power plants. Upgrading this model of turbine by Mapna Group has resulted in the production of 185 MW in MAP2B model. At present, Mapna STS is the manufacturer of equipment for various types of gas power plants of Mapna Group.
